Changes.......

Changes, changes everywhere but if you sit and stare, they stay the same so sit and stare................
I don't know why this song always pops into my head when I hear the word changes, too much playschool as a child maybe! LOL!

This blog post is about the HUGE changes that are about to take place here at HQ.
First can I say a Huge thank you to everyone who has supported us these last few months, without the support we wouldn't have flourished.
You may have noticed we are having some amazing sales this last week, that's because we are trying to clear our discontinued lines, if you keep checking our FB page you should be able to grab some huge (there goes that word again, lol) bargains, our loss is your gain!

Why are we discontinuing most of our lines?
because here at HQ we have decided to start stocking mostly WAHP (work at home parents) products.
What does this mean for you?
It means you will be able to go to one place and support the smaller WAHP business' and at the same time grab some beautifully handmade products.
Some of the products won't be available anywhere else.

So with the transformation of our business we will go into 'hibernation' for about 6 weeks to give us a chance here at HQ to set up the site and source products. At this stage it will happen around the start of July.

We currently have MCNs (modern cloth nappies), soakers, doll slings, mama pads, breast pads and hair clips. We have at least another 3 types of products we are currently talking with WAHPs about.

Please keep in touch with the comings and goings during this hibernation on FB, we will be posting regular updates.

Once last change that is about to happen is we will be having a regular newsletter going out, as some of our products will be on a stocking basis (stocking: is where there are only a few of the items so they will go up at a predetermined time and it will be first in best dressed) the newsletter will be a great way to keep up to date with stocking times and what items will be available.

Can you feel the excitement!

Today is a HUGE day for us here at HQ for a few reasons one the mini hunt is over and winners have been drawn and two it's our official launch night.

How the Mini Hunt works!

Someone asked how this Mini Hunt works, so hopefully I can explain it simply enough.

First you go to the MINI HUNT area under the Information section on www.jannikasnursery.com and click it. It currently doesn't have a blue button as we're getting one made for us, along with a couple more.

It will have a whole heap of information on what prizes there are and how to enter.

Down the bottom of the page you will find a clue, it will point you in the direction of somewhere on the website. You may need to crack a code first before you can figure out where the next clue or the actual logo is.

Example:

Clue 1 reads

I'm fun to play with, bright to look at and recyclable.

You then need to work out what product or page I am refering to, when you work it out you head on over to that page.

Look for either the logo or another clue. If it is another clue follow it, and continue to follow the clues until you find the logo.

When you have found the logo, take note of it's location, pop on over to the contact us button, fill in your details and the location of the logo.

As long as your answer is right you go into the draw to win 1 of 3 great prize packs.

The first person to find the logo for the day also wins a small prize.

The logo will change places everyday, with new clues to follow so you must enter everyday to increase your chances.

The logo will be changed for the start of the days hunting between 3am (vic time) and 9am (vic time).

Let's hope I've made myself as clear as mud!!!!!

Competition Time!!!!!

Ok so I thought I would get into the spirit of the Great Down Under Nappy Hunt and create a mini hunt for Jannika's Nursery fans!

It will work like this:
It will start 9am on Thursday the 4th of March.
Every day at 9am the icon will be positioned in a new place on our website, you need to checkback each day to find the new place.
You will have clues to help you find the icon.
There is only 1 entry a day allowed per person.
The more days you find it the more chances you have at winning the major prize.
There will be a prize everyday for the first person to find the icon.
The hunt finishes on Sunday the 14th March, the major winners will be drawn and put on our website on the 15th March (launch day) at 8pm.

Hello and welcome to the new blog

Hi everyone
After the problems with FB and competitions I figured I would make the change over to blogland and run them from here!
I will update the FB status when a new post has been made.
A few exciting things are planned for this year and an exciting and HUGE competition is planned to coincide with the website launch.
